22-year-old Bethlehem woman killed in Lehigh County crash

A Bethlehem woman was killed Tuesday night in a two-vehicle crash in Allentown, the Lehigh County coroner’s office announced.

Yasmine Tyrea Allen-Woodruff, 22, was pronounced dead at the intersection of Mauch Chunk and Overlook roads in Allentown, near the border with South Whitehall Township.

The cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries from the crash, and the manner of death was ruled an accident.

Woodruff was a passenger in one of the two vehicles involved in the crash at about 8:12 p.m. Tuesday night at the intersection near Route 22, the coroner’s office said.

Allentown Capt. John Hill said six people were also injured in the crash: four people had very serious injuries and two had moderate injuries. All were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

Hill could not say how many people were in each vehicle involved in the crash.

The death is being investigated by Allentown police and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office.
