Guests’ Favorite Bible Verse
One of my personal favorites is having guests highlight their favorite Bible verses. It would be lovely to start a marriage with a new Bible and this is the perfect way to do it. I’m a fan of marking in your Bible, it shows that you are really studying and learning. Having guests highlight their favorite verses and sign their name will be an added benefit during your personal reflection times as husband and wife.
“Without you our puzzle is not complete.” Find your favorite puzzle (bonus points if it’s a photo of the couple made into a puzzle via Snapfish) and put the pieces in a basket or bowl. Ask guests to sign the pieces with their name or a sweet message. Each time you put the puzzle together, you have another opportunity to read the notes left by your friends and family.
Keepsake Wine Bottle
Wine bottles are the perfect keepsake and functional too! Who doesn’t love a glass of wine. Let guests sign a wine or champagne bottle to commemorate the day. An option for your wine choice could be one signifying the year that you met to be shared with your mate on your one year anniversary. Or, choose a specialized vintage wine from the year of your nuptials to grow better with age, just like your marriage!
